Meet Julie – Registered Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Welcome to Essential Acupuncture Clinic, where traditional Chinese medicine is offered with warmth, careful attention and respect for your individual health needs.
Julie is an Adelaide acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner providing personalised care from her primary clinic in St Georges, with appointments also available in Marino. Her calm and thoughtful approach gives you time to explain what has been happening, ask questions and feel genuinely heard.
Whether you are seeking support for pain, stress, sleep, women’s health or your general wellbeing, Julie looks beyond a single symptom to understand how your health concerns may be affecting your daily life as a whole.
A Lifelong Connection With Chinese Medicine
Julie’s journey into Chinese medicine began when she was just 17 years old. After receiving a full scholarship, she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
She graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and Tuina, establishing a strong foundation in acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine theory, clinical assessment and profound Chinese medicine therapeutic knowledge.
For Julie, Chinese medicine has never been simply a collection of techniques. It is a considered way of understanding the relationship between symptoms, physical health, emotional wellbeing and the circumstances of everyday life.
Her education in China and many years of clinical experience now inform the calm, precise and individualised care she provides to people throughout Adelaide.
